Advent day 2 - Setting up for Christmas
So the girls have been counting down the days until last Sunday. Because that is the day we told them we would be bringing down all the Christmas stuff from the attic. Haidyn started cleaning up the house from Friday on, as she knows dad doesn't let the stuff come down until the house is clean.We have 4 huge boxes of Christmas stuff. And a giant fake tree that is really holding up i must say. It gets all crunched up during it's year in the attic so it takes the girls an hour straightening out it's branches
before it starts looking healthy.

These pictures show where the girls spent the rest of the day. "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" was opening in Wellington and I wanted to take them. They shot me down. Nothing is better than hanging out with all the Christmas stuff.
So I am thankful that even though we are thousands of miles from home, and it is basically summer, the traditions of the Christmas season still remain unchanged for my girls. - Eric
