An outing to the Upper Hutt Valley
We went to an animal park called Staglands with our neighbors Beth and Eric and the kids. (these are pictures that Beth and Eric took so you can thank them for this blog post =)
Staglands is a really cool place about an hour or so out of town where they let you hold baby bunnies and run around with animals.
On the way there we stopped at this great spot where we could pick and eat HEAPS blueberries...

It was a really fun day! That is until Athea got sick and threw up about 10 bucks worth of blueberries into the pristine trout pond located about 1/2 through the Staglands park...
I high-tailed it back to the car with the poor sick girl and Eric took Haidyn through to the end.

A little magical replay...
Hi all,

When we got home we got a call from our neighbors asking if we would watch their house while they went up to Whangenui for a couple days. We decided that instead of watching their house we would just go up with them..
Lets GO!!!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!..
We have just packed up all the decorations and the house is beginning to not look like Christmas..
Have not posted in awhile so here is a bit of what has been going on with us guys.....
Christmas Eve we had dinner at our house and opened gifts from the families.. We sure did get a lot of really awesome gifts from afar and had so much fun! X-mas morning Santa came, we opened our socks and then we headed off to Church where the girls were Angels in the Nativity show.
then.............
boxing day, we loaded up the car and headed out camping to Greytown with the Lancasters.. Well.. it turned out to be literally a Grey town.. as soon as we set up our tents it started raining.. We lasted one very cold wet night and then all decided to pack up and head back to our warm homes..

Lets GO!!!since our tent was still soaked through we decided to rent a small cabin, it basically had a set of bunks and a double bed.... The campground had a really nice community kitchen and toilets.. so it was perfect!
Fun at the Whanganui Top 10 campground... eating, drinking, swimming, eating, playing in the sand, sleeping, eating, awww camping!
We took a side trip to Mt Taranaki to see the volcano and some waterfalls. It was pretty gorgeous!
We are home now, Eric is working and like I said.. we just got done taking down the Christmas decorations!
Boy... Christmas, once again, it really went by fast but it sure was magical!
Happy 2008!!
