"Look I drew a Kitty"
Athea is really getting into drawing these days. Here are her very first kitties. (she was so proud and I think a bit amazed that they turned out)
Athea now knows how to spell and write her name.. she sings A - T - H - E - A to the tune of BINGO. (hey we use whatever works around here and she likes to sing)
Most of the time she mixes the letters up and occasionly her name comes out as H A T E.. (hmmm) but she loves to spell it herself.. This time it was spot on! =)

BAM!My girls were invited to a super hero birthday party.. At first they wanted to go as Catwoman (what else ?) But decided that they did not want to be the villian so opted for BATGIRL!!
Branching out and mixing it up is good fun!.. =)

Hello and Happy Belated Valentines!!
The electrician was in the past 3 days hooking up the under floor heating, lights and outlets...
You may have noticed that we have taken a bit of a summer time break from the computer and blog.. =)
The girls just started back to school last week and we have been pretty busy with establishing the school time routines. (which should include blog updates.. ha ha ha)
Today is Haidyn's big 7 birthday party! My girl turned 7 yesterday.. I can not believe it! She is currently at an overnight at a friend's house while we frantically get ready for a party of 8 girls plus siblings (total 15 kids) More of that to come later once we have party pictures to share.
We went camping again up to to the same area as before.. this is a pic of Eric jumping into the water from the rope swing. He is crazy!! It took all my nerve to just swing from the rope.. I could not jump.. too much mental timing math involved.. It was really high, pretty scary and lots of fun! (I was actually quite surprised by how apprehensive I have become in my old age.. it took HEAPS of nerve for me to swing over that river.. my brain would not allow me to let go =)
Bathroom update... still not done but getting closer..
We finally decided to hire a tile guy to complete the tile work. Eric has been too busy with work and just did not have the time. Eric is a bit disappointed with the job and has had to do some fixes.. but all in all I think it looks good..

Enough for now!! I have to go and chop fruit and decorate cupcakes for the party!
