Advent Day 11 - AVATAR
I have been working on and off for over 3 years on the movi e AVATAR. It is the biggest movie WETA (or pretty much any studio) has ever worked on. We have been wrapped on the film for just a couple weeks now. And it just had it's first premiere showing in London. It opens in the US very soon. The few critics who have seen it have been blown away. It is nice to have something which you, and so many others, have worked so hard on succeed. Which is great, because early word of mouth and speculation wasn't very positive for this movie. I encourage you all to go out and see it. You will get your money's worth! Anna and I are going to a crew screening at 9:00 am next Wednesday. The very first time it will be shown in New Zealand.

Hey - yeah....
It's in the Mpls Star this morning that James Cameron and wife, Suzie, attended the world premiere in London AND it will open in the states on Dec, 18th. He sure has a young-looking wife.
Would love to know what specific parts you worked on like King Kong fighting the 3 T-rexes (so I can brag) As ever - Grandma D

Woot congrats Eric! Congrats to you too Anna! Hopefully now that it is wrapped you get Daddy home more! Michael is on perpetual deadline and we just want our Daddy! wahhh!!
