Advent Day 1 - Grandpa Teddy Bear


I hope December 1 is treating you well!
The Christmas countdown begins with my Dad. (no doors again to begin with... technical difficulties)
My Dad has not been feeling that great these past days I am told. He was admitted into the hospital last night for evaluation and is going through a bunch of testing today to figure out what is wrong.
My sister Gail just emailed and said...
They gave him the test to picture his heart. No clots, heart looks really good. They couldn't find anything wrong. They zapped him and that went well, just going to monitor him now. They think he will go home tomorrow. The tests didn't hurt. He sounded in good spirits. He is going to take a nap. Mom is going over with Barby in about an hour. Glenn and Julie will visit tonight. Only thing is, they just don't know why his chest hurt, rhythem off, but if he remains stable, that is great and maybe it was a touch of the flu..
Whew!! that sounds like better news!
We are sending well wishes from afar!
We sure do love him!!
(It is times like this that makes living overseas really really hard..)
