Happy Halloween...
It was a beautiful spring day here and the kids got ready for Trick or Treating. Athea was Batgirl and Haidyn was a Bat.. They started at one end of the houses on the the bay and worked their way down to the Breaker Bay community hall...

A few of the Mum's in Breaker Bay (the community where we live) organized a little halloween party at the community hall for the neighborhood kids...

Later we had a movie for all the kids to watch, Pooh Halloween for the little ones and later... A Nightmare Before Christmas for the big ones.. (Athea watched both shows)

We had lots of halloween crafts, games, prizes, and lollies (candy).

A Mummy autopsy, Eric made the coffin... and us moms supplied the guts, heart, brains etc.. from the pantry =)

We had big pot of wormy Jello, popcorn and Eric grilled up fingers (hotdogs) for anyone that was hungry...
A mom from the end of the bay even supplied flowers and made flower garlands for the girls.. (to tie in the fact that it is spring)

That was much more "Halloweeny" than our house...We had a total of 4 children come by. That's what comes of living on a cul-do-sac I guess. I'm glad you had such a good time. What great parents you all are. Give your little goblins a squeeze from Papa and Grandma Jo. We sure to miss you. Love!
Thats awesome Anna! Was there more people than you expected? Looks like you had a pretty good turn out! Way to shine some light on a very fantastic holiday! Those kiwis don't know what they are missing!

Well - I went to Target Halloween clearance and it was "slim pikkins" They had really cute string lights = but you have a different electrical system there in NZ. Got some paper plates & napkins - Gail got some stuff too from her store - SLIM PIKKENS! Love, Mom
