The Reynoldz

Erin lost a toof on Thursday night. She worked all day wiggling it and by bed time, I had to pull it out. I was afraid she would lose it in her sleep. Luckily Aunty Anna had her own tooth pillow for Erin to use. The tooth fairy gave her both American and New Zealand money. What a nice fairy. On Friday, we visited the Fairy store to see where the tooth fairy lives. We also stopped for morning Tea at the Breaker Cafe.

The Southerly winds came in on Thursday and Friday. The Southerly winds produce angry waves and cold weather. The winds come in from the Antartic. Unlike the states where the Northerly winds are from the Artic. It is the opposite here and the Southerly winds are cold. Brrrr. Today, (Saturday) it looks like it is going to be a nice day. There is a wind needle that shows the direction of the wind. As you can see, the needle was pointing. Sometimes, it points completely sideways when the huge gusts blow.

The waves in front of Anna's house were crashing and booming. The pictures don't show how high, but I would say they were at least 10 to 12 foot waves.

Friday night we were invited to Jennifer and James house. James works with Eric at Weta. They have 3 kids, Marcus (9), Victoria (5) and Oliver (3 mo.) We had a house full of kids. 9 total. It was a lot of fun, but I think we stayed 15 minutes to long. Tired kids. Thanks for the invite Jennifer. Matt, Dani and Marcus played kick ball outside. The girls, Athea, Haidyn, Victoria, Erin and Faith played dress up. We also played ping pong.

Eric bought an Electric piano from Trade me. like Ebay. He and Anna picked it up on Thursday, but without a power cord. He just came home with the cord and he is busy playing away. It has been over 2 years since he has had a piano, he is so excited. He plays lovely and funky.
