Howdy from the house buried in boxes...
Well.. we are in and now you will never hear from us because we are busy doing house projects...... ha ha ha ha - just kidding (well kind of =)
Since we have been in, we have ripped the dog urine smelly carpets out of 3 bedrooms, a hallway and the kids new play house..(the house came with a playhouse.. nice surprise!! =)
We found awesome hardwood floors underneath.. Hooray!!! But now of course these floors need to be sanded and polished before we can actually unpack anything and move in.. (boo =(
The sanding and polishing will be taking place next week Tue, Wed, and Thur... these are days that we need to vacate the house.. boo again =(
I just booked a hotel at Napier an Art Deco inspired town about 5 hours north of here so we can get the visiting grandparents out of the house to see a bit of this island. Hooray!
L and J have been really busy helping us clean and paint. (sadly, that is what happens when you arrive 2 days after the inital move into a house I guess.. good timing on our part! but poor L and J are probably thinking that it was not so good.. =)
My hero, Lloyd has painted 2 bedrooms, 3 closets, the kids new play house and a bit of the bathroom.. Man is he fast and good!!!
Joanne my heroine has cleaned, sorted, loved/watched the girls and weeded the garden.. (Hooray again for us!!!! =)
We lack pictures, I know.. but the printer is still packed and it is our only tool for downloading the images off the computer..
SOOOO I leave you with a semi oldy but oh soooo goody.. =)!!

LOVE the video!!! Jeb was dancing to it too. just know he would love dancing with the girls again. Don't worry about papa and grandma. A comment i heard from papa before they left was....."not sure what i'm going to do for 5 weeks....so i bought a bunch of books" you know he loves to have useful things to do! we in fact are lining up spring things as we speak for him to help us with! Hee hee! and you my friend can hopefully get a little respit while grandma is loving those girls! We are off to try out a "kindermusik" class so need to get going. love you all!

Miss ya, as always wish you were there. That dollhouse in your garden sounds like an awesome place to be! It was nice talking to Haidyn last night. She sounds SOOO grown up!!!

Sounds like you guys are biiiiizzzzzzzyyyyyyyy! The hotel in Napier sounds like a nice "reward" for your super-helpful inlaws.

Just to keep the record straight, We(mostly me)are not jealous of Lloyd and Joanne getting to visit you guys in New Zealand at this time. Too much work and not enough play for me. So Lloyd and Joanne keep up the good work on the new home so that when we get there we ( I )can visit and play. I really think Donna would just love to get her hands on those hard wood floors and help with the cleaning.
